When to clean and how-often
Cleaning your Slide-Lock Lid will keep it good as new and ensure you always have excellent-tasting coffee with every brew! We recommend the following cleaning procedures:
- Please hand wash both Carter and Slide-Lock Lid with warm water and dish soap — please use a soft sponge to ensure you don't scratch any surfaces
- Let air dry or towel dry thoroughly
- Once a week, disassemble the Slide-Lock lid and wash thoroughly (note: you may want to clean more thoroughly if you put milk in your coffee!)
- Cafiza is commonly used to remove coffee oils and can be used on both Carter and Slide-Lock Lid
